SURFING
Surfing is more than a sport it is a way of life, it embodies a harmony between the ocean and the human spirit. From the exhilarating rush of catching a giant wave to the tranquil moments spent waiting for the next swell. I have been photographing this lifestyle for over 20 years and am still just as excited documenting it now as I did when I saw my first surfers riding waves. This print collection is special to me and I hope you find something you like.
SEASCAPEs
Every time I go out with my camera the sea is different, the light is different and I feel different, no image will ever be or feel the same. In these moments I embrace the allure of the ocean where the horizon blurs between sky and sea. Every photograph tells a story of time and transformation, as nature supplies me with an endless canvas to create my photo art.
TRAVEL
For me, travel photography celebrates the rich tapestry of life across the globe. I have adventure running through my veins, and discovering new places and cultures, provides me with unforgettable experiences, and an education that no one could have taught me. My camera has allowed me to collect extraordinary and memorable images that I now have the pleasure of offering as fine art prints
FLOWERS
One of my most recent projects has been photographing flowers, in particular the Hibiscus, which for me symbolises paradise. There are over 300 varieties of this glorious and elegant bloom. Seeking out perfect specimens has been a challenge, along with removing the many unwanted bugs. I chose to photograph them outside in soft natural light, capturing their form, colour and beautiful shapes. I am delighted with these new artworks as they lend themselves to large square prints perfectly.
Black and white photography holds a special place in my heart as it was where I started my picture taking journey. At art college I spent countless hours in the dark-room printing my monochrome images and loved the way that those images appeared like magic in the developing tray. Today I still love to create black and white prints as It is an enduring art form that captures the essence of subjects through light and shadow. Enjoy this collection of timeless moments captured by me and my camera.
BLACK &WHITE
HORSES
For me Horses embody grace, power, and a unique bond with humanity that transcends time. I grew up around these beautiful animals and have a natural affinity with them, they are highly sensitive and intelligent animals and have a magical aura. When photographing them I feel incredibly relaxed which I think transcends into the images that I create. Here I have chosen some of my favourite colour and black and white equine artworks for this print collection.
